Welcome to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church is a bilingual (English-Spanish) parish with ministry and outreach in both languages.  We are located in central Utah County and are the oldest and largest Catholic church in the County. We welcome newcomers and visitors, including those of other faiths.  This website includes information about our sacramental ministries, our staff and programs as well as our outreach efforts.

INTRODUCING ONLINE GIVING

Parishioners now have the option to make their regular contribution to the parish using online giving.

You can still mail in to the church your cash or check contributions, or drop by the church and deposit them in the drop box under the altar and image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the hallway outside the parish office.

Thanks for your continued generosity.  Please keep up your prayer life, even though you can't be at Mass. See the parish facebook page for live streaming of Masses and special devotions. Please practice safe behavior during this time.

NOTICE:   Some of the restrictions that limited the celebration of Masses to live-stream participation only have been lifted.

Masses are now being held in the Escalante Room, with a limit of 20 people.  You must wear a mask to be admitted.  Communion will only be distributed in the hand, by order of Bishop Solis.  The dispensation waiving the obligation to attend a Sunday mass is still in force. Those who are in the most vulnerable populations are encouraged to continue participating via the live-streaming of masses.  The 10:00 am English masses, the 6:30 pm Spanish weekday mass and the 12:00 pm Sunday masses are still being live-streamed.

Weekend English Masses are at 5:00 pm Saturday, 8:00 am & 10:00 am Sunday. Weekday English Masses at 10:00 am.

Spanish  Weekend Masses: Saturday 6:30 pm and 12:00 & 2:00 pm Sunday. Spanish Weekday Masses: 6:30 pm.

Please check the Parish Facebook Page  (St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Orem, UT) for updates and ongoing activities at the church.

Celebration of the Rites of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation & Eucharist) in English

Saturday, June 13

The members of the RCIA class in English will receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist in the Gym on Saturday, June 13.

Those who have prepared to receive the sacraments in the Spanish sessions will receive them at a later date.

Because of restrictions on the size of the congregation, the Saturday Mass on June 13 will not be open to the general public, but only to those participating in the rites.  The regular mass schedule will resume the following Saturday.
